“Found a space easy enough but trying to get out of the car park is a bit trickier, it’s not clearly sign posted to the exit, but that’s my opinion, best regards, Keith”
“When flying from Liverpool we always use long term parking. Easy to get in and parked. A short walk to the terminal building and if you have a Blue Badge its about 50 metres away. On return a couple of minutes to the car and off home. Barriers in and out are number plate recognition so no queing for a 'get me out' ticket. As you prebook your in and out dates nobody should be able to drive your car out during your holiday.”
“It’s a joke I pay for 1 week long stay parking £62.99 and when I come back and try to leave the parking lot I need to pay another £110 it’s a joke I’m fuming. It’s a ripping off costumers.”
“We parked in Liverpool Airport's Multi-storey car park. The cost for seven days was very good considering the close proximity to the Departures. Our homeward flight was delayed by 2 hours due to the French Air Traffic Controllers strike. We were worried that we would incur extra costs but Liverpool Airport had extended the time we could park by 4 hours to cover any reasonable delay. I will definitely use this facility again.”
“Well at the age of 77 my son booked me This Parking as he said that as it’s meet and agreed people would be able to help me there and also close to the airport.
How wrong was he !! I needed help and went to the little office and knocked on the door to be basically told to go away as the man was busy on the phone. I tried again for assistance some 10 minutes later and he still refused to help. In the end when close to tears and concerns over being late for my flight I tried again and very begrudgingly he helped. It’s a joke that this service is called meet and greet and that you charge a premium rate for this shambles. Never ever again.”
“The Meet n Greet parking itself was ok although the walk to the terminal isn’t much shorter than the other car parks. The signposting for it is however horrendous. There isn’t any from the main road leading to the airport! I ended up having to drive into the express Drop off Pick up car park and drive straight at at a cost of £5! It was a taxi driver who eventually told me where to go for the MeetnGreet car parking. The whole debacle probably added another 10 or 15 mins to my journey by the time I found it. Staff at the Meet n Greet told me this happens all the time. It is terrible and added to an already stressful drive over to the airport.”
“We used the "new" Meet and Greet which when we eventually found it was in an excellent spot, a very short walk to the terminal and in relative terms was good value for money but why is it not properly signposted?
This is not "new" as we used it months ago and struggled to find it, all other car parking is well signposted but not this and if you follow the other car park signs you are in trouble as we ended up in the long stay and once in you can't get out without paying!
You actually have to turn off before you hit the roundabout with the car parking signs, why not put one at the side of the turning? Even when you get near the car park all the signs are temporary vinyl signs cable tied to the fencing.
Finally when you get in the portacabin to book the car in the signs explaining the process are badly written and confusing and there is no one on hand to help you.”
“Not well signposted at 3am in the morning, missed the turning as no signage. Was told by a airport work I had to go in the main carpark and come back around on myself which I didn't realize I had to pay £5 for going in and straight out of the car park to come back around the roundabout.”
“Excellent. Close by. Etc. Only big niggles with liverpool are 1. Slow baggage handling on return flights. 2. Ludicrous roping off area leading to border control. Is someone ‘taking the Mackey’???”
