Unfortunately my car registration wasn’t recognised at the carpark barrier. Therefore I assumed that I had gone to the wrong location. I tried to leave immediately but the barrier wouldn’t allow it unless I paid £10. I contacted the assistance and was criticised quite abruptly saying I should have pressed for assistance on entry. Then when I tried to Leave the carpark after my return I was again criticised by the assistance operator. I think to operate in a customer service role it is not good practice to criticise your customer for the fault caused by your equipment!
