“Having relied on Manchester airport over the past 5 years we were impressed with the ease of access, excellent service and overall great experience with the LJL Airport. We'll definitely consider it again for our next european visit. Can't think of anything you could imporve on although we did set out at apparently a very quiet time.”
“Booked meet and greet and, unbelievably, missed the huge signage for it, possibly because it looks like an advertising banner rather than official signage.”
“No mobility bays available and we could only find one free bay at the extreme end of the car park.
Our return flight was cancelled so we were delayed in return but still in the same day yet had to pay an extra charge which is unreasonable when the standard charge includes the day.”
“I thought the meet & greet parking was excellent, it was easy to find, being my first time using it, I thought it was going to be more difficult and coming back it was easy to find my key, I thought it was expensive but then I thought if I had taken a taxi it would have been a similar cost, so from an 86 year old woman thank you for making it easy.”
“Good open air car park close to the terminal. Had pre-booked and barrier raised on arrival as expected. Bit tricky to find a space as had to drive around for a short while to find one and layout of car park was a little confusing.”
“Location is very convenient however the system is confusing. We followed the one way system to access visible empty spaces only to have to reverse all the way back with nowhere to turn as bollards had been put in place to close an area of the car park with no notices in situ”
“Easy to find from the M56, sat nav took us straight to car park entrances, followed long stay signs to park up easily. Walk to departure hall is around five minutes at most. From parking up to being in duty free took 25 minutes,winner! Down side is wife had more time to shop in duty free and returning at night, you face the dreaded junction closures on the M56/M6 with no alternative routes marked up(as usual). Don't follow your sat nav in this case as they just send you back to the closed junctions!”
