“I used the meet and greet service when we went to Lanzarote for 7 days and didn’t want to mess around with taxis etc. whilst the title says meet and greet - this isn’t as traditionally expected - but a simple read of the description tells you this before you book! You park your car in the drop off zone, go to the little building on the car park where there are self scan machines and multiple lockers, you scan your QR code in the put a tag on your keys, along with the sticker that the machine prints. You then drop the keys off into the drop off box , it gives you a receipt and off you go!
We returned following our holiday after midnight, we went to the same hut at the meet and greet zone, scanned our receipt that was given when we originally dropped the keys off and the machine told us which ‘locker’ my keys was in and location of my car which had been parked on the meet and greet car park. It was across the road. Straight in the car and on the road home! It was faultless and I’d absolutely do it again the next time we go away - worth the money and if you don’t mind driving post-flight it’s a no brainer.”
“For me, an excellent service, but as my wife pointed there was no security for a female solo traveller or any other vulnerable traveller. I.e no staff form airport to pickup point.”
“The carpark was fine but on top of the parking charges both myself and the other car which was parking at the same time as us ended in the drop off area and had to pay the £6 (each) to get out of there. The signage from the road is pretty bad, we only saw a sign for meet and greet when we were leaving the pick area. Never saw one before. We did not expect to have a sat nav to do around one mile.
I shall also send a formal complaint to the airport.
We normally fly out of Manchester.”
“I find the car park easy to negotiate and safe although when i arrived part of the car park was cordoned off i was dissapointed as i usually park in the same area of the car park”
“Received a penalty charge notice for parking on a pedestrian walkway. Only did so because the floor markings were worn away and nearly invisible, particularly on a winter's morning at 04:30 am with lashing rain - other people had parked in the same area no doubt for the same reason. It is clearly a lucrative business for them to leave their signage / markings in a poor state of repair in order to fleece yet more money out of their customers. Rather than admit this is the result of their own poor maintenance they have forced me to go through a lengthy appeals process to challenge this fine. Absolutely disgusting.”
“Never a problem parking at Liverpool airport I use it quite often. This time I booked fast track when I arrived the car park was full but then seen I sign saying if full use family fast track with was over the road and to be fair it's not a big problem apart from it was raining. But like I said it's never a problem at Liverpool airport.”
