“The parking was great however, the booking system online is terrible! I had booked my parking online and paid for it however, upon arriving there was recollection of the booking and was told to take take a ticket and sort it on my way out the car park. This left me worrying during my holiday that I was going to have to pay again for the parking and due to there being no recollection of my booking I would struggle to get the money back. Luckily I spoke to another person on my way out and she was very helpful and let me out the car park with no further payment needed.”
“I parked early morning and it was very heavily raining. There were no spaces available after driving around for 20 minutes. Eventually found a spot by a fence and ran to catch my flight.”
“Once we eventually found meet and greet it was good but I think it's a bit of a scam to make more money. As a regular to Liverpool Airport parking you naturally drive to where all the parking signs are near the terminal. However the M&G sign is a pathetic, badly coloured, hard to read sign that is hanging off the wall a few hundred yards further back up the road. This means you end up trapped with the only way out of the carpark system being via a £5 cost through the drop off zone. Its an absolute farce and Airport staff admitted as much.”
“The long stay car park was full when we arrived, it’s not obvious how to get to the additional spaces further away from the terminal, do you limit the sale of pre-booked car parking to within your capacity?”
“Easy to find and nice and close to the airport terminal. It is big and it can take quite a lot of time to find an empty space. The signs indicating where spaces are seem to have stopped working so all you can do is keep driving round which isn't ideal when you have to catch a flight. Prices have risen by over 10% this year.”
“Was pleased with location and ease of leaving car (staff great) however sign posting was very poor. At that time of morning don’t want to go searching/stress. Pick up great”
“Parking is very close to the airport and easy to get into but due to getting back late at night it was very dark I would if felt safer it was better lit up and due to poor lighting it was very difficult to find our way to the exit as the signs are small and not lit up”
“It was cheaper than other major airport car parks. But layout and pedestrian areas needs a lot of attention. Signage needs updating so ease of entrance and exit.”
“Not well signposted at 3am in the morning, missed the turning as no signage. Was told by a airport work I had to go in the main carpark and come back around on myself which I didn't realize I had to pay £5 for going in and straight out of the car park to come back around the roundabout.”
“Parking up was great and very convenient. My flight home was 4 hrs delayed, and I was horrified to find that after paying £126 for parking, I had to pay a further £15 to get off the car park, because of the delays”
“Unfortunately my car registration wasn’t recognised at the carpark barrier. Therefore I assumed that I had gone to the wrong location. I tried to leave immediately but the barrier wouldn’t allow it unless I paid £10. I contacted the assistance and was criticised quite abruptly saying I should have pressed for assistance on entry. Then when I tried to Leave the carpark after my return I was again criticised by the assistance operator. I think to operate in a customer service role it is not good practice to criticise your customer for the fault caused by your equipment!”
“We booked an paid in advance before our travel, we then upgraded after receiving an email to the multi storey. This process was frustrating as you had to pay in full again rather than just pay the extra. Then on our arrival we were given a ticket to enter, on our way home when pitting the ticket back in the machine it read that we owed over £500, rang the bell and had to wait, had to give lots of details before we could leave. Very frustrating and has put us off since, unfair with young children tired and unsettled, not a smooth process for families”
