“I paid £18.99 for a 1 day parking which was booked until 2300 hrs. My flight arrived back at 1900 and I drove my friend home, intending to drive back in at 2200 hrs to collect my husband who was on a later flight but found out that you are not allowed back in, once you have left the car park, the booking has finished therefore I had to then pay the £6 pound pick up fee at 2200 hrs. What a money grabber... Once again, the motorist is a Cash Cow. I think this should be amended. It is unlikely to happen often when somebody needs to return to collect someone because of a different flight and they have already paid the parking fee and are still within the timeframe”
“Car park was great to use once I found it. Could do with better signage as I went to wrong car park and had to turn round in the drop off area. So unfortunately I had to pay £6 for the privilege of turning round to find the car park”
“I booked the car park on line but it wasn’t made clear that smart park was a different carpark, I went to the carpark and the barrier didn’t rise so I had to get a ticket not realising I was at the wrong car park. On leaving after my holiday I was told I owed £170 after already paying nearly £90 after explaining I ended up paying an extra £16. The wrong car park should not have given me a ticket it should have advised me off my reg number I was at the wrong car park.”
“Too far away to walk for the car at 1:30am in the morning with two small kids and an 83 year old mother and large suitcases thought it was right outside the terminal would have used the multi-storey if I’d have known”
“Parked in the multi storey which was handy for the terminal building. All was good until we returned and realised somebody had pinched a badge from our BMW.”
“Hi, one problem we had was finding the exit, we followed the exit signs off the car park which led us to the automatic barrier,it did'nt say exit but Long stay carpark which is confusing, we went round again realised there was no other way and so again pulled right up to the barrier which opened after reading our number plate. Please make it clear its not just the entrance to the vlong stay car park but the way out also.”
