“The long stay car park is conveniently situated right across from the terminal with only a short 5 minute walk to be inside. At the moment there is a lot of building work going on around the hotel which did interfere with the directions and pathways which made things a little difficult.
Apart from that all ok”
“Booking the car parking was straight forward, a very good experience.
Arrived at the airport at approx 0620 on the 29th June 2024 but it took about 15 minutes to find an empty car park space. ( drove around the car park for a while ).
Car park was in a good location plenty of trolleys available we were in the terminal within 10 minutes may have been different if it was raining as walkways were open to the elements?”
“If you can park near the terminal great. Unfortunately it was nearly full so we had to park furthest away from the terminal and it was raining, so we had a long walk dragging cases and getting wet. The automatic barriers worked well coming and going and signage was easy to follow.”
“Straight forward booking process and really easy to find the parking area.
Only negative is that it took a while to find an empty parking space and we were worried that we wouldn’t find one.”
“Parking was ok managed to fine a place, but coming out was a nightmare as it's not clearly sign posted with the exit route to get out. The floor markings are not painted and clear enough to show you the direction, and when you do actually find an Exit sign it's got lots of other signes around it so again as you are driving it's distracting and hard to follow”
“Used the meet & greet...great, IF YOPU CAN FIND IT! SatNav given, didn't take me there. Little or no signage. Trying to reduce the stress of travel by booking it.....but nearly missed my flight trying to find it. ALL that said, now that I know where it is, I will use it again....or maybe just book a local hotel!”
“Being a Blue Badge holder it appears there are insufficient spaces for us to use. This is most inconvenient and perhaps some means of reserving such a space could be made possible ?”
“Really easy to pay online and park, the only downside was trying to get off the carpark as the signs weren't very clear, and it sends you in a circle.”
“The booking process and procedure was very good.
The signage could be improved. I did a dummy Google Maps run beforehand otherwise I’d have ended up in the wrong place. It completely baffled the Uber driver in front of me who ended up in a real mess.
It also needs to be clearer that it’s now ANPR.Still loads of signs up advising people to go to the pay station when you don’t need to, which caused me a little bit of concern and panic that I’d get to the barrier and would then be stuck.”
