“I appreciated the easy access and signage to the Long Stay car park. Plenty of spaces to park in. On our return the signage to exit the car park from Zone A was not clear and it took some time to exit. Apart from that I felt the experience represented value for money. Thank you”
“I was really unpleasantly surprised to notice a scratch on the leather steering wheel. Really disappointed. Unfortunately, I have noticed it shortly after we left the parking lot.”
“Not been for a while and found it rather confusing, stuck in one way unable to get out, not what you need at 5.00am with other cars piling up behind you. Then on the way out a private van parked up trying to catch folk speeding. I’m better informed now but the booking didn’t make it clear there were multiple different car parks.”
“Booked a short stay for a few days and followed all instructions. Arrived 3am at the car park (Short Stay) but the barrier woulnd't open. Tried the intercom several times to no avail. At this point there was a queue behind us and we couln't reverse the car, so the only option was to press the ticket button. Because we have wasted so much time trying to connect through the intercom we ran out of time and had to park which turned to be the Multistorey Car Park otherwise we were risking missing our flight (also first time experiance at John Lennon Airport!). Upon return we found out- thanks to a VERY rude member of staff over the intercom that we have indeed parked on the wrong car park and we have to pay a hefty fee of £35! This was 'apparently' the difference between the car park we booked (short stay) and the multistorey- which is a total lie as I do remeber when choosing the car park the difference between the two mentioned was £5!!! Extremely rude staff, absolute zero emphaty and understanding for a genuine mistake made! I would never EVER use this Airport and the car park, the markings are confusing and the email recived was also very confusing leading up to our costly mistake. Absolute disgrace! I booked a Short Stay and followed the lines to the car park 'SHORT STAY'!! I DO NOT reccomend this car park and the rude staff.”
“Arrived at 6.15am and not many spaces available, parked at far end of the site (under the bridge) having spent 15 minutes looking for a space
Having used the multi storey previously I would recommend that option for a higher price to save frustration and anxiety before joining the queues at security”
“Booked the Meet & Greet parking. It was easy to find using GPS and the map that came via email.
Stopped the car in the covered area, checked my details and when the barrier lifted drove and parked in the allotted lane. We exited the car with our luggage and went to the signposted office to drop the keys. Followed the instructions on the screen, put a tag on the key and placed it in the deposit bin. You get a very important receipt with a bar code on it for when we returned (took a photo of it for just in case) and then we had about 300ft walk to the airport terminal wheeling our luggage (trolleys were available), it’s ok on dry days but you can have the same weather problems with other car parks.
Return, we walked to the office. Used a different screen and took my key from the indicated draw.
The car was in a close by car park in a marked row so was easy to find.
It all went well with no problems so I would rate it very good.”
