“First time I have used this airport, so not familiar with location.
I found the road signage, or lack of, disappointing. Very easy to take a wrong turning, on a featureless dual carriageway, with no discernable landmarks.
Once I found the airport, it was very easy to find the long stay car park.
It then took several laps, to find a vacant parking space.
The parking spaces were far too small for even small/compact vehicles. Anyone driving a wider modern SUV, would struggle, without damaging adjacent cars.”
“The parking would have been great except I could not exit. The ANPR system did not appear to work so did not recognise me entering and wanted to charge me £130 to get out. The help call sorted things, but the instructions and/or process needs to be looked at. I had a QR code on my phone but nothing to tell me I had to use it to gain entry.”
“We have used this service on many occasions and have always found it to be a very smooth experience.
On the odd occasion we have had an issue with the barrier not raising , but the attendants are very helpful and polite and sort the problem swiftly …. Even in the middle of the night !!
Spaces are always scarce but we have always found one, the multi storey is our car park of choice - yes it’s more expensive but you get what you pay for in our opinion.
