“Flew to isle of Man via John Lennon Airport. Easy to find off the M6 motorway. Parked next to the terminal for a reasonable charge. Relaxed atmosphere, easy to pass through.
Recommend it.”
“We arrived to park at 5am. We got parked very close to the terminal and found a space very easily. On our return we were asked for an additional £32 even though we were within the correct time frame. However we just contacted someone using the buzzer at the barrier and were let straight through. Overall a good service”
“Very covenient to park close to terminal however, as visiting Belfast to attend a funeral not pleased with the £33 charge to one night, thought that was very excessive as no time to book in advance.”
“Love the airport , hate the parking, offers come along for special rates for long stay in the short stay multi storey which is great as it is so convenient , however on every occasion I have done this, the number plate recognition fails and you have to spend the next twenty minutes convincing the guy behind the speaker that you have made a legitimate purchase , and then when you get back from your trip (tired and late) you have to go through the same nightmare to let you out.”
“I generally try to fly from Liverpool rather than Manchester, which is about the same distance from home by road. Manchester seems to be much busier in terms of both the security and passport channels, and queues taking and hour to transit are not uncommon. This I have not experienced at Liverpool, which is good.
However, Liverpool airport is beginning to look a bit tired and may benefit from some refurbishment.”
“Airport parking booking was quick and easy and the automatic number plate recognition faultless, including exiting. Godd to just have a short walk to the terminal.
We did not use check but went straight to security - relatively quick and painless.
We had a meal in the departure lounge: took some time to be served at the counter (ignored by some staff), but otherwise OK.
On return, from touchdown to leaving the car park - only 20 minutes!”
“Everything OK, lovely airport, no queues and much better than Manchester...except one thing: paying £2 to drop off/pick up is completely annoying - taking the mick
Don't be so greedy for such little gain - see some sense and allow free drop offs”
“Found the car park really easily but it took ages to find an empty space to park in, however the layout of the car park is good and it was easy to remember where I had left my car as each area is clearly sign posted and I could access and leave the car park without any difficulty, so overall pretty good. Much better than the system at Leeds Bradford where the customer service Is none existent.”
“I have recently used the long stay and the multi story car parks. The machines have been an issue the last couple of times I have used the multi story and the last time I had to pay cash rather than use my company card.
As a lot of people will be business customers it is my opinion that this is something you should address and have working at all times”
“Directions and instructions for use at the car park were unclear. On trying to exit the car park we were told we owed £80 on a fully paid up ticket. The positive was the incredibly charming, funny and efficient attendant who picked up and assisted on the intercom.”
“We recently used the multi storey car park as they were offering great advance booking deals which saved the stress of finding a space in the long stay area and the subsequent long hike to the terminal. However, on arrival the system didn't recognise our booking, so we had to press the intercom for assistance. As our booking confirmation was in the boot, we had to take a ticket and hope we could sort it out on the way out. When we exited the car park one week later we were presented with a charge of £230, but after quoting our booking reference, which we then had with us, the barrier was raised and we were on our way. Tip: Have your booking reference handy when you enter the car park.”
