“I have used the parking at J L Airport several times in the past and have been very satisfied with the service. My wife is suffering from Atrial Fibrillation and, as I usually do, I decided to drop her off at the Drop Off car park before proceeding to the car park proper. I was rather surprised to find that I had to pay £2 for using the drop off car park. In the past this has been free. I am not sure if there is a way of going directly from the Drop Off car park to the other one without going through the exit.”
“Having recently had 10 flights in different airports I found Liverpool Airport to be the least inspiring. the only Plus I found was the staff at Liverpool were the most friendly and helpful of airport staff. One bone of contention was the trolleys for our cases, (poor condition), 4 adults, 1 child of 13 months, 5 suitcases and hand luggage, one trolley was not fit for purpose as the bearings had disintegrated on both front wheels, slight turn to left or right and the trolley nose dived and off came the cases, the second trolley also had a damage front wheel and was hard to push and keep strait.
As Iv`e stated 13 month old child 5 cases and an 88 year old great granddad, not a good experience walking out of Liverpool Airport where you can`t bring the car to pick up your passengers.”
“The FINAL signposting - last two roundabouts - might have been bolder / more clearly written? Also, above the entry barrier, there is little to finally re-assure the motorist that they ARE in the right place. UNTIL the machine quietly issues a ticket!”
“easy access to terminal followed instructions from e-mail could not fault system only negative when leaving could do with some more signage pointing you to the exit overall a good experience”
“Plenty of shops to buy last minute things you have forgotten, good selection in Duty Free although still almost the same cost as the High Street if travelling in the EU. Easy parking at a reasonable cost. Not as crowded as bigger airports.”
“Overall very convenient and safe but the signing both pedestrian in the car parks and approaching them was very imprecise and confusing and or non existent”
