“I prepaid the long stay car park directly on the Liverpool John Lennon Airport website in August for 7 days. On my return from holiday I received a parking Charge Notice from a parking company. In the bay there were no signs advising you could not park there and no yellow lines or zigzags. It was in its own actual parking space, not a kerb or anything. I emailed the airport and they said I had dropped off passengers in the drop off zone and liable for the charge. When I pointed out the date of the charge was 2 days after I parked the car and was not in the country they have told me to take up my dispute with the parking company. Very disappointing and frustrating as I thought booking directly with the airport would ensure no issues with the booking. Very poor unfortunately”
