“Booked parking in advance. Didn't really notice the tiny wording on the booking confirmation that said 'park smart'. Booking confirmation said barrier will lift automatically on entry. Haven't flown from John Lennon for a while, so assumed that parking was in the long stay section. Got stuck in the one way system on approach to long stay car park . Waited for barrier to lift but it didn't. Had to enter the drop off section to get out of one way system and paid six pounds for the privilege. Thankfully, a nearby taxi driver was able to direct us to the smart park section.”
“I was disappointed to be charged for exceeding the 5-minute limit by just 2 seconds, particularly as there was significant congestion in the drop-off zone which made it difficult to exit promptly. It felt overly strict given the circumstances.”

Checked booking confirmation sheet again after trying wrong car parks, to find that the 'parking type' Park Smart was in fact the name of the car park and not the type of parking. Had to ask a local taxi driver where it was, as we were searching for a 'family car park' as indicated in your documentation.”

I ended up in the wrong car park. Pressed the intercom twice and ended up getting a ticket to park.
Despite emailing multiple times and calling the day of no response or action was put into place to come back to me. I had to follow up the day prior to arriving home for an update.
I was made to pay the difference in price. The member of staff on the intercom was not customer friendly.”
“Didn’t enjoy the experience as my husband needed a wheelchair to get to the terminal. It was a long walk for him in the rain. There were not any seats in the entrance where he could rest either so not a good start to our holiday.”

“Parking is fine. But... the booking system still has a car I owned 6 years ago as the default and refuses to change it. Even when you type in the latest Reg it reverts so you finish up stuck at the gate

“We used meet and greet. Although it was easy to do, we actually ended up parking further away than the standard parking, and upon return it took us longer than what it would have done to park normally not meet and greet. It's not really meet and great when no-one meets nor greets you, and it's further away.”
