“Had booked the fast track but when we arrived there were no spaces left. Another car arrived so we all asked someone in the meet and greet where to park. We were directed to the family fast track which had spaces and more room between vehicles. The fast track car park is very small and cramped and wholly unsuitable. The "covered walkway" is laughable. On our return from holiday to pick the car up, we drove round the family fast track car park and it was completely full - only our vacant space was available. I dont know what we would have done if both car parks were full. There is no "space" management and no other information if you cant find a space. Its doubtful that we would park at the airport again and the normal fast track car park is a joke. There's more space at our local convenience supermarket! We'd also be very hesitant to use the meet and greet facility - I dont know if vehicles are parked on site - perhaps Liverpool Airport can comment how this is managed, where vehicles are left and what security is available to look after the vehicles? Unfortunately we would NOT recommend - get a taxi or a lift to the airport!”
“I am disabled and normally you have more than sufficient parking but this trip you had halved availability of disabled spaces so we spent half an hour trying to find a space which eventually was as far away from front entrance as was possible....very disappointed”
“Could not get a disabled space anywhere and driving around for over 30 minutes for just a normal space we had to do without a blue badge space and found it very hard walk to the to the main building .”
“"Meet & Greet" didn't seem to include either meeting or greeting. It was all D.I.Y. On our return the automated box containing our key malfunctioned. Thanks to a member of staff working on Sunday, he was able to open the front panel to retrieve the key. Overall not a great experience.”
“Personal opinion but i think the parking spots should have numbers and that each booking gets allocated a parking spot. We drove around the car park for half an hour trying to find an empty spot and we we're already late due to an accident on the way there. Also a car had parked in the road space blocking the one way system at one area so us and 3 cars had to reverse all the way back because of it”
“No mobility bays available and we could only find one free bay at the extreme end of the car park.
Our return flight was cancelled so we were delayed in return but still in the same day yet had to pay an extra charge which is unreasonable when the standard charge includes the day.”
“There were no spaces when we arrived and had to drive around and around trying to find a place for over 30 minutes with many other drivers having the same problem.
In the end we had to park on yellow lines as no spaces were available”
“I would like to but I could not use it as my ryanair flight was cancelled.
It was not fair that I had to pay for the parking due to matters beyond my control.”
“We stayed in the multistory and prepaid. It was our first time doing this. It wasn't very well sign posted and we ended up going into the long stay car park by mistake. We were only in there a matter of seconds but the barrier wouldn't let us out unless we paid £10. I tried to use the intercom for help however it just rang and rang. Very disappointing.”
“Booked in advance online, when i arrived they could find my booking even when i provided the booking refererence. I waitied 15 mins at the barrier with cars behind me waiting to come in. So not the stress free parking that was promised”
“Not brilliant. Still quite a walk to terminal. No one to advise re checkin when you arrive - can be confusing. Arriving back the small locker slipped as I opened to collect my key and locked again. No advice on what to do anywhere! Knocked on blank door and luckily someone was there to help.”
“The parking was fine and very convenient. I was unhappy that by pre-booking I paid £39.99 for two hours, but if I had paid on the day I would have paid £20.00!
I pre-booked to ensure I could park as close to the airport as possible.”
“Was very difficult to find an available parking space was beginning to worry that if nothing was available I would have to find alternative parking despite pre-booking/paying”
“Everything was great until we came to leave the barrier wouldn’t go up saying I owed another £15 , I didn’t my grandmother booked and paid for it when she did hers . I was distraught it took me 30 mins to get the barrier to go up I will think twice before I go in it again I had to pay the £15 before I could get out”
“Staff lovely on the phone and on the tannoy after licence plate recognition failed but the price of the car park was too much and loads of disabled parking out of action due to being used as storage. For 24 hours of parking nearly £40 was too expensive.”
