“Booking was easy.
Car park 10min walk to terminal.
Barrier failed to open on exit - was still within allotted time. Call the button man and it was sorted .
So Ok but not seamless.”
“I booked the 'multi-story and short stay' car park for 3 days. When I came back I could not get out of the car park. The person who answered the intercom was rude, aggressive, insulting, condescending and of very little help. He spoke to me like I was an idiot and then held me to ransome by reducing my alleged penalty parking fee of £116 (he maintained I was in the wrong car park) to £14 before he would let me out.
Naturally I paid this in order to go home, but I object to being over charged regardless of how small the amount is, and the way I was spoken to was totally unacceptable. I have no idea who this member of staff was, and this anonymity has undoubtedly emboldened their awful attitude. Had this been a face-to-face conversation I am sure they would have behaved more empathically. Incredibly unprofessional. They may get away with this with the large numbers of tourists who come through Liverpool, but I am a resident and use the airport several times every year.
This character needs to be identified for advice, guidance and customer service training. They harm the reputation of our great city and our fledgling but ever growing airport.”
“Handy parkingg for airport but on printing directions sat nav takes you back of carpark. Barriers didnt open and huge signs telling you fines of £100 if stopping. You have no option but to stop and turn to find correct entrance. That apart parking was fine. Could be cheaper as its all outside. Im disabled so needed close to airport entrance.”
“Could not fault anything about my car parking experience using Liverpool Airport Parking.
Having a Blue Badge, I found plentiful Disabled Parking bays directly across from the Terminal building, also having pre-booked, leaving the car parking experience was very quick and simple, I would definitely use again.”
“As a disabled driver I needed to park close to the terminal. Booking was easy and U was provided a map. The car park was clearly signposted and automatic number plate recognition made it easy. There were plenty of disabled spaces and close to the terminal. Good value.”
“Super quick and easy to use the website to book.
Really easy to park and really close to the airport.
The only downside is that it’s not very clear to get out. My flight landed at night it was raining heavily and the exit signs are not very clear so went round in circles but managed to get out in the end. All in all a good experience”
“Both long stay and multi-storey are a short walk to the main building. The road markings in and around the carparks are a joke - most of them are worn away and general condition is poor. With such extortionate parking costs (at most UK airports) there is no excuse for shoddy upkeep.”
“I found signage confusing and was initially unsure if I was in the correct place. We only had hand luggage, but otherwise it is quite a walk and could be difficult with large cases or during inclement weather.”
“Paid for parking at Liverpool, they didn’t direct me to where so thought it was where we always park. Drove and parked in long stay. On return drive out but barrier didn’t let me out and wanted to charge £220. Spoke to chap on buzzer, told him paid for parking, charged me £22 on top of what I paid to get out. Lack of info when paid as to where I should park. I would now consider Manchester over Liverpool. Out of 10 I would give 1. Not happy”
“We paid for Meet & Greet Parking and on return to collect the vehicle we found it reversed approximately 2mm away from a lampost. When moving the vehicle forward to get cases in the boot, there was a small scratch directly in line of the lampost. It had obviously caught the lampost and then been moved forward slightly when realising.
Given the vehicle has 360degrees cameras and multiple sensors I hope this was just a really poor driver rather than someone with a complete lack of care.
Won't be using again.”
