“Easy to book and use with number plate recognition. Whilst adjacent to the terminal it was a little "hit and miss" in finding a parking space. Certain people had decided to simply park in the passenger walkways!!”
“Great parking location and price. The only ask would be Clearer Exit signs throughout the car park. At night there was limited signage or road markers to indicate where the exit was resulting in a number of cars circling the car park.”
“This parking was good and easy to find. However, as a pedestrian trying to get to the terminal building for the first time, it is hard to know how to exit the car park and most the time walking where cars are passing with no dedicated pedestrian walkway. On the other hand, it is only a 5 minute walk and I would now know what to do next time.”
“We had a good experience of parking at the airport , our inky struggle was having a big car and the spaces being quite narrow , we had to drive around for sometime to find space big enough so we could actually get out of the car , I know this can’t be helped as the car is big but maybe a little more space would have eased the worry about the car being damaged whilst away”
“Easy access ...easy parking ...short walk to terminal .....hower we had a 7 hr delay due to air traffic strike and were charged an extra full day ... Maybe these type of episodes could be monitored in the future to help your customers as no flights were going in or out .... just a thought 🤔”
“Signs or lack of signage was our only problem. We ended up out side long stay parking then in the drop off parking and had to pay to get out,before locating the smart parking entrance.”
“I used fast track parking, bit more expensive but being a solo traveler it made my life easier with luggage.
However, my flight was delayed coming back so wasn't happy with having to pay extra £35 for a couple of hours delay.”
“Ideal parking on site although a short walk to terminal. Not much choice to be fair but when there is no other option it will do. It could be a problem if you have mobility issues. The cost was more than I'm used to paying at Manchester, but as I said, when there's little choice.......”
“On the whole the car park was fine, I did find it difficult to find the exit when leaving as the signs on the floor and sign posts were worn out/not very visible at 10 o clock in the evening and not all of the lights were working”
“Proximity to terminal and ease of access / exit is excellent. Barrier just recognises your number plate and opens. Open air but secure fencing. Quite expensive though.”
“Overall the expereince was good and only let down by the fact that parking zones A to C, as indicated on our collection ticket, do not exist. After searching for 20 minutes we were guided to the collection area by the attendant.”
“Very good price for parking as we took a trip to Belfast. Easy to find and good location for airport terminal. However, very busy and took time to find a parking space, resulting in a long walk with luggage.”
“Used parksmart as we always do. Easy access, enough spaces although far from the entrance, but the weather was kind to us. Exit was interrupted as our reg plate wasn't recognised, but the guy on the intercom got us out promptly. Only issue I had was 3 or 4 vehicles parked on the walkway, even though signs are clearly visible.... get them clamped or fined.”
“Great. The only thing I'd add is it's really hard to understand where the nearest free spaces are so i spent ages crawling through the first 4/5 sets of bays before realising they're all full but I've no way of knowing how many rows/areas to drive past to get to a row with a space on it. In the end i gave up and went further away than i probably needed to. Suggest adding one of these digital signs near the entrance that shows whether the areas of the car park are completely full or not. Otherwise, reg plate detection worked well and otherwise happy with the experience.”
