“We last used Liverpool Airport about 10 years ago and found the car park easy to book and loved how close it was to the terminal (the only reason not used after that was limited flights/holiday locations). Due to increased Jet2 locations we travelled June 2024. We were pleased to find that everything was the same ... easy to book the parking, ease of entry / exit and close to the terminal. We have booked again for September, easy parking makes sure your holiday gets off to a good start.”
“Good entry and exit vehicle recognition.
Very poor signage and lay out of car park, on arrival took a good while to find a parking space.
On arrival back home car park was flooded, we were unable to get to the car without shoes getting full of water.
No clear signs for exit and signs on the road send you round in circles!”
“We paid in advance which made the process straightforward. The barrier automatically opened on our arrival. Car park was busy but we found a space and it is a short walk to the terminal”
“I have mobility problems, so being able to choose the option of forward parking at Liverpool Airport is fantastic.
Whe we arrive at the barrier to the parking areas, the number plate on the car is recognised and the barrier lifts automatically.
The bays are larger than normal too.
We can board our plane safe in the knowledge that our car is safe and secure and will be waiting for us on our return, unlke some airports!!”
“I have parked many times with LJLA in the long-stay area, and it is super convenient, in a great location close to the airport. Unfortunately, on my last visit to LJLA, my flight was canceled while I was in the bag drop queue, resulting in the entire trip being canceled.
I contacted parking@liverpoolairport.com to inquire about my options since I no longer needed the parking for the full duration I had paid for. Unfortunately, nearly three weeks have passed, and I have not received any response from LJLA. This lack of response does not reflect well on the customer service side of Liverpool Airport Parking.”
“I paid for and used the 'Meet and Greet' at Liverpool airport thinking it would be convenient and quick. How wrong could I be. Meet and Greet it is NOT. I suggest that Management look up the meaning of both Meet and Greet.
The information given to find the 'Meet and Greet' was very bad, and there is NO signage as one approaches the Airport telling one where to go for the Meet and Greet Parking. The booking information gave me a Postcode which took me to the 'Drop off Parking' and cost me £5 to get out.
All in all an appallingly organised system that appears to be designed to take money off users at every available opportunity. To be blunt I would call it a 'scam'.”
“Straight in through the barriers as it recognised my reg number. Parked up no problem. The only problem that I had was when we returned and couldn't find the exit. I had to ask the security guard patrolling the place in his 4x4 where it was. The exit needs to have better signage, that's all.”
“If you have a choice of Liverpool Airport or Manchester, choose Liverpool. From parking to security to the staff around the airport. And I'm from London so no local bias involved! The long stay parking is also next to the airport itself so no need for a buss or a long walk to the terminal although I believe busses are available.”
“We decided to use the fast track parking on a recent trip. It did cost more but it was worth it for the extra piece of mind for my husband's baby, I mean car.
We were very impressed. The car park is right next to the terminal and from parking, checking in and going through security using the included fast track tickets, only took us 25 minutes. Would definitely use again.”
