“Whilst I purchased the 'Meet and Greet' option there was no meet and no greet. On picking up my vehicle the machines were not working properly and no person was present to ask for assistance. On finally getting my key the location of my car was some way, away and suffering from emphasima found this a task. I was expecting my car to be in the same area I left it as is the case at Mcr.Airport. Everything else at Liverpool airport was very good, the parking experience let it down”
“I booked the outdoor long stay parking for a flight at 8.10am. As a disabled traveller it was an absolute nightmare trying to find a parking space at 5.45am. There were only 3 empty spaces in the entire car park, non of which were disabled spaces. As my powerchair was in the boot of my chair, our suitcase was on the back seats. With only narrow spaces left, I had to get out of the car and stand there with the suitcase whilst my husband parked in the space and then used the hoist to get my powerchair out for me. I was in a lot of pain and never should have been put in that position. If my husband hadn't been with me, I couldn't have managed it on my own. Never again.”
“The cost of the meet and greet parking was only £1 more than long stay. We parked up very close to where we handed the keys in. Without seeing a single member of staff, the process was quick, easy and seamless. Upon returning the automated key facility was similarly quick and we were home bound within 5 minutes. A great service all round We will definitely use again.”
“I paid almost £100 recently to park in the Smart car park at Liverpool Airport... I check the directions via Google maps and what3 words.... got to the airport and could not find any signs for Smart car park. . Because of the one way system I was forced to park in the long term car park. Whilst I was away I wrote to Smart car parks via the email they had sent with my booking.... nothing tired again... nothing. Tried calling the number given no reply! So in the end I found an email address on the Liverpool Airport website, wrote and they responded and told me what to do on my return... I then had to pay an extra £2 per day to leave the car park. Won't be using Smart car parks again... it will be cheaper to get a taxi!”
“Could not fault !! Easy to book , easy to find carpark, found a space very quickly , very short walk to terminal !!! Exit was as good as the entry !!”
“Economical and conveniently located (in nice weather).
Very easy to book online, even the day before flying. Sat nav took me to the wrong car park and the signage on the roads didn't help to get me back on track. Once I had found it, entry was straightforward. Then, the signage in the car park itself was pretty dismal, with some routes becoming single lane/one way but only apparent that they were once you were going the wrong way. There was sections of car park that you had to go a particular way to get to, but again poor signage meant going round a few times to get there. Once I found a space, the lane and markings were fairly narrow: it would have been a struggle to get kids or elderly relatives out. The walk down to the airport itself was fine on the warm dry day that I was there, but would have been a but grim in bad weather with suitcases to roll. No covered walkway but all paved and a few roads to cross with no steep kerbs.”
“The auto number plate recognition is a big step forward. It makes the stay ticketless, which is one less thing to lose on holiday.
Easy access to the terminal from long stay”
