Meet and Greet fine when we found it but signage wholly inadequate.

Parked up on the long stay parking which is quite a distance from the terminal. We're 70+ year olds and it was quite a way to drag the cases over some uneven block paving especially when the rain is lashing down. We arrived back at 0100 and after delayed border checks we got out of the building at 0200 and again it was absolutely chucking it down. We got back to our car like two drowned rats. Getting out of the car park wasn't easy either as there were no clear exit route signage and we drove around for a while trying to find our way out. Definitely room for improvement.

It’s easy to book but not so easy to find a space especially in the first car park. They should give each row a number for ease of finding your vehicle

Great parking so close but PLEASE look at the road signs and markings in the car park they are very difficult to see and some of the signs have trees growing over them so can’t see them and the on road signage has virtually disappeared so took us ages to find the exit please review as good close parking

Once there it was great, however, the postcode provided doesn't work, we then followed the signs to all car parks and had to pay £5 for 20 seconds to get out of the incorrect car park as there was no other way out, more signage is needed for meet and greet

No bloody signs for meet and greet, asked 3 Airport employees where it was , they had no idea, eventually after driving into a staff car park the gate man over the intercom gave directions back onto main road out of airport grounds…. Please get it right, get signage.

I booked long stay parking for 4 nights. The booking process is straightforward and the entrance to the main car park easy to find. However, finding a space in the car park was hard. There is no indication of which zone has spaces. In addition, it is hard to see how to get to zones F to K. I could see spaces but no obvious way to get into the zones. The one way system is very confusing and there is one area that is a cul-de-sac which I had to back our of. I talked to a helpful attendant who directed me back to zone B. To get there I had to drive the wrong way down a one way stretch. Apparently the entrance to zones F to K are via a road under a bridge. The signage to zones F to K needs improvement. You also need to separate out zones for booked cars and a zone for those just turning up on spec. If possible, book cars into specific zones as well.

The long stay outside parking is a huge busy area so the problems start when trying to find a space ! Then the walk to the terminal building dragging suitcases in the pouring rain is not great ! At least there should be a drop off area where , unless a solo traveler , one member of the party could be dropped with cases etc closer to the terminal building , there could be a covered area in the drop off zone . It wouldn’t be difficult to organise !

It was good parking close to the airport but trying to find a space when arriving was really hard also I had booked 1 day less than I should of for the parking and was charged £15 at the exit which I thought was a bit expensive I think it should have been a reduced rate as I had already paid £98, apart from that I was happy

Easy to book but had an issue with parking. Signs led us to multi storey car park and couldn't get barrier to work. Intended to press assistance button but accidentally pressed ticket button and got a ticket so entered car park. On leaving barrier again didn't work so asked for assistance and discovered we were in wrong car park. Had to pay an extra £18 on top of our £46.99 booking fee as apparently we should have been in long stay car park. I take some responsibility for this but also think signage could be more instructive.

We thought that we would be met at the terminal building and someone would drive our car to the car park. Similarly, we expected the car to be brought to us on our return. We had to park the car ourselves and walk about 200 metres to the terminal and back. It would have been easier (and probably cheaper) to park across from the terminal near the hilton and walk about 100 metres. Won't be using it again.

The booking system was easy to follow and the price was reasonable. However upon our arrival, mid day on a Thursday, we could not find a free space even in the overflow car park. As our driver was disabled we could park too far from the terminal so we had to sit and wait for a space to become free. This was not in the blue badge area but we did manage the walk with our cases but with difficulty

Registration ANPR always seems to be a problem. Which results in a delayed entry/ exit. It does eventualy work by speaking to someone on the barrier system but it aint great!

Signage for the Meet & Greet area is woeful. It’s before the entrance to the main airport parking and I ended up being charged £8 to get out of long stay parking when I took the wrong lane when I missed the sign at 3:00am. Would suggest more accurate directions in the booking info as it was non-existent. The attendant when we arrived acknowledged most people miss it.

First time using LJLA and I booked Meet & Greet parking for my trip, however on approach to the airport there are NO SIGNS for meet and greet. There was a sign to Fast Track (left) and a sign for Car Parks (right). I followed the car parks sign and ended up being charged £5 (on top of the £60 I already paid) for entering the wrong car park for less than 30seconds! Could easily have been avoided by having the proper signage. There was a large meet and greet sign on the corner of the turning, however there is no sign telling you that you need to go in that direction in the first place. Getting to the Meet & Greet the staff were very friendly and helpful. The check in process is a bit more faffy compared to Manchester and Leeds Meet & Greet. Here you have to tag and label your key yourself, however the staff are there to help you if you. On return there are no signs for Meet & Greet in the airport. I asked a couple of members of staff and they pointed me in the right direction which was exactly the same place as drop off, other airports I have used tend to move the car to a different location or have the car waiting outside the doors. Process to get the keys back was fine, scan barcode and collect. Overall the experience of LJLA was positive, but if you book M&G make sure you turn LEFT at the junction and do not follow signs for Car Parks as you will get charged!

we chose meet and greet. The signage is not good enough and the printed directions are the same. Approaching from the M62 we ended up in the drop off car park and had to pay£5 which is not a good start. fortunately a kind taxi driver led us to the right road. once there the parking is excellent and just right for a pair of 75 year old pensioners.

Not signposted enough. Had to call to get directions. Use of the system should be simplified. Otherwise not really an issue but this is if you have not used this previously. First time use is not good.

Having booked the "Meet & Greet" facility, there was immediate confusion as to its location. Having not used Liverpool Airport for many years, we naturally headed for the airport not seeing a "Road Sign" for the M&G. Arriving at the airport, there was no indication as to the M&G reception. Having used one at Manchester and seeing it was on a multi storey car park, we ascended the multi storey to find it was not there and presented with an £8 exit fee, which was waived when we explained the situation. This is when we were told to exit the airport and look for the M&G on entry again. This we did but were looking for an overhead road sign or one that was "Official". Once again we ended up in the car park, this time moving to the drop off to see if we had missed the reception first time round. It took a Taxi driver to explain fully how to exit the airport (costing £5 (which was re-imbursed on complaint)) to then see the yellow "banner" directing us to the M&G (it did not look official and not obvious to a non local/frequent user). The guys when we got there were very helpful but also confirmed that others had had the same complaint. As a suggestion, when you book on line, please have clear directions on the confirmation document making it clear that the entrance is NOT accessible from the airport car park itself. I have to say this caused quite a lot of panic as we are both pensioners and was a bad start to the holiday. Now we know, we will probably use Liverpool Airport again, but it was start we could have done without.
