“The ‘Friendlier’ airport, it’s time this airport, or at least it’s car parking changed their slogan. If you want to win over customers from the big boys then it’s time to stop ripping off customers, and having customer service staff that hang up on you. (Twice)
Paid £30 for car parking. Wasn’t able to make my trip. No refund. Just as well I didn’t book two weeks, goodness knows how much money I would be out.
I was told by the customer service representative, it’s in the terms and conditions, and as I wasn’t listening he was going to hang up. I was not impolite and did not raise my voice. When I asked if I could speak to a supervisor he said ‘No you can speak to me’ .
My advice is don’t help J.L Airport parking by prebooking, just turn up, at least then you don’t get robbed of the parking fee. Better advice still don’t use the airport at all, go to Manchester or Heathrow, been using them for years, never had fees taken for non use of parking and certainly never been met with such appalling customer service.
This was my first time experiencing Liverpool airport, and was hoping it would be the first of many.
Sadly it will be my last. Looking forward to passing on my experience, and warning others about the ‘Faster easier friendlier’ airport”
“I left a work laptop at security flying to the Isle of Man and immediately tried to phone. You can’t phone, only email. Now Saturday morning, still being referred between pillar and post.
Due to the nature of our work my laptop has sensitive information on it and it’s causing me a bit of an issue - one would’ve expected a sense of urgency or some level of communication or service but no.
I will request CCTV footage but the whole thing is just wrong you can’t speak to anyone of Do anything - really concerned and nowhere to turn until I hear back from the next person to refer me back and forth btw customer services and lost property.”

I am disabled and parked in the disabled drop off bay, I walked my daughter and granddaughter to the check in too see if I had booked correctly on line, I was meeting them at Edinburgh they were ok so I walked slowly back to the car as I am a disabled blue badge holder 23 minutes I was ther and got to the barrier and was charged £25 what a total joke, what was I supposed to do run these parking places are just money making traps, ripping off people I will do my best to make sure nobody travels from speke again, enjoy your profits con artists”
“Absolute shambles of a Airport for disabled drop off and collection. The old system was much better like it is at most hospitals. You take your badge and ticket abd its scanned and you leave. Now you have to pay up front and they make claiming the cost back so hard that many people give up. This actually discriminates against disabled people. There absolutely no lea way. I dropped off disabled people and im.disabled myself. It They have no customer service on site and i feel totally shocked how they are treating disabled people. Wont be travelling from there again ever.”
“Twice I have used the parking at Liverpool Airport, Meet & Greet this is not a meet & greet but a self service no one to meet or greet took ages to sort out the keys and on the return no one to inform you where your car was just wander around the car park not professional for the money paid. The second time I used the standard car park in all good just no exit signs lots of driving around trying to find a way out.”
“Had to wait 30 minutes for the Ambulift so that i could disembark. Captain had already called ahead and I had pre booked assistance. The ambulift was filthy . Very poor service .”

“Just got charged £50 for the pleasure of experiencing the key stone cops working in Liverpool airport. I first checked their website to make sure the flight was arriving on time, it reported it was, yet the person I was picking up reported they were over an hour late taking off. Used flight radar to get a better picture on the arrival time. I arrived 10-15mins after the plane landed but they couldn't find the steps to get the people off the plane. While they found the steps instead of getting the luggage off the plane I think they waited while they sorted out the steps. I got a text saying they had got off the plane so should be out shortly. After about another hour the person I was collecting came out of arrivals gate, apparently while having trouble getting the luggage off the plane they then proceeded to put it on the wrong conveyor and further delay was avoided due to good eyesight. I have sent an email to parking @ liverpool airport, but I will be disputing the transaction with my card company. Management needs to sort itself out, but it's probably part of the plan to fund the 6 figure bonus for the ceo.”
“Contact number? Joke dropping off short stay, contactless not working so spend time reversing between gates and then over to 10 mins and charged £10. I’m a taxi driver, they had staff there earlier because they wants to working, still not and no staff. Joke of an airport”

Got charged 50 pounds for parking after sitting on a plane and not allowed to get off due to lack of staff on the ground which made me late . The total time was 1 hour 30 to get off the plane and through customs. My dad was waiting for me and had used the parking near the airport being 81 and also picking me up with my bike he needed to be close . We got to the barrier and it cost us 50 yes 50 pounds !!!!! Scandalous”
“New machine for paying to leave short stay carpark. Lots of trouble getting out. The money you pay to park should have been used to buy

“There minimum 7 people staff and queue was running so slowly. While waiting I see 1-2 ladies without duties or some on training didn't know what to do. You need send there ready trained staff. Completely disappointed!!!”
“You charged £50 for 1 hour parking on the drop off pick up car park!!!!! That is robbery. If Liverpool operations cannot align the carousel with EasyJet flights and it takes over an hour to collect the bags and get to your lift what is going o n?? You don't have good transport infrastructure so lifts are required. John Lennon would not want his name as your brand if he knew you did this. It's disgusting.”

“The only upper crust thing about this place is the cost. Large led screen drawing you in as it introduces you to lots of non existent offers.
No reduced price drink with a baguette, no pastry with any coffee.
Apparently I was reading these offers from a defunct or as the staff put it 'default menu' whatever that means.”
