“Ok for the price, hardly any marking on the floor or exit signage. A handful of cars including myself couldn’t find the exit. This also didn’t help it was in the dark, little or no street lighting. Adequate parking spaces and seemed safe enough, left my car for a few days.”
“I paid for Fast Track parking, right next to the airport.
I assumed I would go to the main airport parking.
I was by the multistory car pk but no sign for Fast track parking - no mention of a different entrance on my emails I received from them, and I missed the sign back on the main road, because I wasn't expecting one - as no mention on emails.
Cost me an extra £5 to get out of the short stay car pk, as no other way out.
Really annoying, as it cost me an extra £5 and half and to work out how to get to correct car pk half a mile away.
I notice 2 other card by multistory doing the same as me.”
“Second time I have used the car park after pre booking. Second time the barrier has not opened on arrival. Second time I have had to take a ticket. Second time it has tried to charge me an additional £90 on exit. Second time I have had to speak to the grumpy operator on the button. Makes me wonder if it will happen a 3rd time”
“I've used this twice now in a few months, and it's OK. However, I use a mobility scooter, and the screens and instructions aren't accessible. Also, a few wider disabled spaces near the office should be available, and the car parked so that I can get my scooter into the boot without having to move the car out of the space . I would hesitate to use this service in future without accommodations for disabled drivers. Luckily, I was able to ask other drivers for help each time, but can't count on that.”
“Pre-booked a long stay car park, on arrival signage should be improved. Took a ticket to open the barrier. would have expected the barrier to open automatically as pre-booked. On departure the exit barrier did not recognise my number plate so I inserted my ticket. The screen informed that a fee of £155.00 was due for parking. Seem like ANPR was not working. Knowing it was an error I pressed the call button. A very helpful gentleman answered asking me for my registration number, I gave it only to be told it was not on his system. he subsequently asked for my booking reference number which did identify me. He then had to open the barrier for me. Out at last!”
“We used the meet and greet car park but because of poor signage we missed the entrance and had to go to the next carpark to turnaround that cost us £5. There was no meet and greet, it was all self service, which was differen t to what we were expecting. The collection of the car was quite straight forward and now I know where it is and what to do I would use it again.”
“Meet and greet very difficult to locate as there are no clear road signs at entrance to Airport. We wasted almost half an hour trying to find it.
However once located everything worked well”
“Used “ Meet and greet “ and the postcode given meant I spent 40 mins driving round the airport in and out of 2 car parks which I had to pay for.2 very helpful security men asked me to follow them to the car park otherwise I I may have missed my flight. Perfectly happy with the parking and pick up ONCE I GOT THERE !!!!!”
“I used Meet &Greet for the first time. The signage for Meet &Greet is terrible. I eventually found a small sign for the M&G after a lot of stress. Suggest you make the signs for all cap parks equally clear. Otherwise the parking was positive.”
“Great parking if you fly during reasonable hours. We picked fast track parking for convenience. We traveled with our 3 year old and wanted to make it as easy as possible, however on the return we found the airport doors closed for entrance to the car park from the terminal. We walked all the way down the airport to find the doors closed, so had to walk all the way back through the terminal to walk back to the parking. Definitely not worth the extra money as we couldn't use the benefits when we most needed them.”
“When are you going to stop letting people who are clearly out of there mind drunk board planes
Just been to tenerife with Ryanair the man in question fell down the stairs of the plane when we landed and then fell off the bus taking us over to the terminal”
“When I got back from holiday I had a surcharge of £465 apparently I had parked in the wrong car park! I alwys book the multistorey but something went wrong. I buzzed the intercome and the operator charged me £20 to lift the barrier”
