“Exit in the dark isn’t clearly marked on the gloor we was driving round and round from the raised area !
Cars parked on pedestrian walk way they should be fined as it puts people at risk having to walk in the road dragging heavy cases about .
Other than that parking is well sign posted and hand for airport .”
“Car park was easy to find, but lack of gritting meant that it was incredibly icy, and the conditions were dangerous. I would choose an undercover car park next time. The exit signs were also hard to see, so that could be improved upon.”
“Very close parking to terminal entrance, although it wasn’t very well signed posted on approach to the airport. Upon our return from our breakaway, the same terminal entrance door was locked, and we had to use another door further away to exit the terminal, which left us a lot further from the car park. Oh, and for some unknown reason, we didn’t have our security fast passes that we paid for with our parking cost. Why?”
“I attended the M and G , no staff to help my elderly disabled mother in law , no wheel chairs , she had to walk into the terminal, which was very difficult, we had carry her at one point !! And on our return the same thing”
“Maybe their fault but not allowing a cancellation once in the 24 hours before the flight meant that we couldn’t get a refund when our flight was cancelled the day before due to storm Darragh”
“Good online booking service. Customer service could be improved. My flight into Liverpool was delayed overnight and therefore I incurred an overstay charge. I am trying to get in touch with Liverpool airport parking to receive an invoice for the charge so I can claim back from the airline in a timely manner. My email has been acknowledged, however I am still awaiting the invoice. I would appreciate if customer service could be more prompt in their provision of this invoice.”
“to far away, and cheaper to park closer, why have they put it in the far corner ??, if you use this you will need an umbrella if raining, no cover at all.”
“Grand . It's very tight to get round . Trying to find the exit out of the long stay carpark was a nightmare the first time . Not easy to figure out . Poor signage .”
“The meet and greet service is a good idea but being located a short walk away from the departure entrance detracts. The drop off and collect processes themselves are easy to follow, once you have found the car park which is much less straightforward and less well signposted than it should be. On a freezing and wet early morning, having to walk a fairway without shelter to departures is not quite the premium service that the concept otherwise should provide.”
“When we booked the car park,we were told not to take a ticket, the barrier would lift automatically, but when we arrived the barrier did not raise and after a couple of minutes we pressed for a ticket which was a thin piece of paper not a card ticket, the barrier raised.
On our departure we approached the barrier nothing happened, pressed the call button and gave my details to your employee who raised the barrier.
Do you operate a NPR SYSTEM or a ticket system ?.”
“The car park was easy to access, but there was very few spaces available and the delay almost cost us a missed flight. The exit signs are very confusing and limited light also was a negative. leave plenty of time to park up .”
“Easy enough to get to, small airport on the edge of a housing estate.
Very different to other meet and greet carparks we've been to in the UK, no one to greet. You effectively dump your car in a row of others and post your key.”
“We found our way to the car park ok, two cars, my daughters car was in front. There was two barriers facing us, my daughter aimed for the left one, it would not open as predicted. There was no intercome as predicted by you, so she could not get in touch with anyone. In desperation she took the ticket offered by the machine, and this cost her twelve pounds! While this was going on I noticed cars getting through the barrier on the right, so I took this option and got through. Every thing worked on the return trip with no problems. I now think that you should return the twelve pounds that my daughter had to pay to get away from the barrier and into the car park.”
“First time I have used this airport, so not familiar with location.
I found the road signage, or lack of, disappointing. Very easy to take a wrong turning, on a featureless dual carriageway, with no discernable landmarks.
Once I found the airport, it was very easy to find the long stay car park.
It then took several laps, to find a vacant parking space.
The parking spaces were far too small for even small/compact vehicles. Anyone driving a wider modern SUV, would struggle, without damaging adjacent cars.”
