“Unfortunately my car registration wasn’t recognised at the carpark barrier. Therefore I assumed that I had gone to the wrong location. I tried to leave immediately but the barrier wouldn’t allow it unless I paid £10. I contacted the assistance and was criticised quite abruptly saying I should have pressed for assistance on entry. Then when I tried to Leave the carpark after my return I was again criticised by the assistance operator. I think to operate in a customer service role it is not good practice to criticise your customer for the fault caused by your equipment!”
“We booked an paid in advance before our travel, we then upgraded after receiving an email to the multi storey. This process was frustrating as you had to pay in full again rather than just pay the extra. Then on our arrival we were given a ticket to enter, on our way home when pitting the ticket back in the machine it read that we owed over £500, rang the bell and had to wait, had to give lots of details before we could leave. Very frustrating and has put us off since, unfair with young children tired and unsettled, not a smooth process for families”
“The booking process was easy but the car park was very full on arrival and we had a long walk from the terminal and back in heavy rain. My wife is slightly disabled and found the walk difficult with no obvious drop off point closer to the terminal building.
I could find nowhere to leave luggage trolleys near the car.

“Fine for booking online etc but not a great set-up on arrival, you need to have a system of knowing how many bays are free etc. people can't be wasting time before a flight trying to book parking they reserved. It slightly defeats the convenience of driving there in the first place.”
“Automatic number plate recognition was amazing, safe parking without damage was amazing, the main issue we had was signage from car park to terminal as a first time visitor was poor, Exiting the site was a nightmare even in daylight, hard to see any exit signs and was worried would enter a zone with more costs in error.”
“On-line booking process was straightforward and car park location is great. When arrived at the car park barrier I was expecting the barrier to read my registration and raise, tried two separate barriers and neither lifted and so I pressed for a ticket and found a space. On departing the car park the barrier stayed down and so I put the ticket into the machine which displayed an £84 parking fee. I pressed for assistance and thankfully I had my booking reference and the barrier was then raised by an operator. Feel the instructions for entering/leaving the car park could be more transparent when booking.”
“Parking spaces are extremely narrow and when I parked, therefore I removed my case and placed on tarmac before parking. I also hoped that the cars parked either side of mine were there longer than me as I was concerned about door damage, fortunately this was the case but once again I had to place my case on the tarmac and then drive car out of the space.”
“Used the long stay car park. It was difficult to find an empty space, we had to drive around quite a bit, so some indication of how many spaces are free and where they are would be helpful. Didn’t see any members of staff patrolling either while dropping off the car or returning to it, so I didn’t feel particularly reassured about my car or my own safety.”
“We had a newborn and toddler with us and it was pourrrrring with rain and blowing a gale, wish there were some baby and child spots nearer the airport or a drop off point to drop one adult and kids off to avoid having to walk from the furthest end of the car park to the airport. We had to get changed when we got into the airport we were so wet.”
“Parking was close to the airport but no disabled bays available. Booked for lounge & lunch. But only one booking went through. We were unable to pay for an extra one at the entrance as they said their machine was broken. Resulting in neither of us entering the lounge & no means of a refund! Will fly from Manchester in the future!!”
“Booking the car park online a nightmare even the people I called on two occasions could not book it. It was successful on a third attempt nearer the time and a lot more expensive. The barriers were great and plenty of spaces considering there were some drivers parked up but not in designated bays. Thank you entrance and Exit both were great even with the ridiculous flight delay returnnshoukd have been 01:40am instead it was 03:20 am big diffference but delighted not charged anymore for additional parking. Three stars purely as online would not work and had to complete by phone.”
